Getting started.
What is FyInvoice?
An invoice editor in your browser: your details and the client's, the lines, the tax, your brand, and the PDF.
Do I need an account?
No — not to write invoices or save PDFs. Set up your profile once and it fills in every invoice after.
Is there a quick way in?
Load the sample invoice, or switch the editor to Simple for the fields most invoices need.
Will it catch mistakes?
It flags a missing sender, client, number or line, a due date before the issue date, and an invoice past due.
Tax and money
The numbers, done right.
Which taxes?
GST, VAT or sales tax, with a rate on each line — or none. The tax label is yours to change.
Does it split CGST and SGST?
No — GST is one line. Note the split in the terms if your invoice must show it.
Which currencies?
INR, USD, EUR, GBP, AED and SGD, each written the way its country writes money. Nothing is converted.
How are discounts worked out?
Line discounts first, then any invoice discount, then tax; shipping is added after tax, and amounts paid come off the balance.

Where are my invoices saved?
In this browser — up to 50, each marked draft, sent, paid or overdue. Clearing the browser's storage clears them.
Can I back them up?
Yes — export a backup file and import it later, or on another machine.
Does Cloud Pro keep invoices in the cloud?
No. It syncs your profile, saved clients, items and logo; invoices stay in the browser.
Is anything uploaded?
Not to write or download. Emailing or sharing uploads the PDF to your FyDrive; AI prefill reads what you paste.

What does Cloud Pro add?
Emailing invoices, share links that last 30 days, drafting from text or a chat with FyAI, and sync across devices.
How many AI drafts?
500 AI runs a month.
What's the Team plan?
Cloud Pro for each seat, on one bill.
Can I buy just FyInvoice?
Yes — Cloud Pro and Team are sold per tool, or as the FyTools suite.

What FyInvoice doesn't do.
Can it make an e-invoice with an IRN?
No — e-invoicing, Peppol and HMRC filing aren't available today.
Can I add a payment QR?
Not yet — it's switched off. Put your UPI ID or payment link in the payment details.
Recurring invoices or reminders?
No. Duplicate last month's invoice to make this month's.
Can clients pay through it?
No. It shows how to pay you; the money goes wherever your link goes.
